Humax?

I was wondering if anyone thinks I should spend my money on this. Thinking about adding it to a tea with forest humus, banana peels, unsulf. molasses and steamed bone meal? Also If anyone has another bloom tea recipe and would like to share it please do so. Also has anyone used einsteine oil? Was looking into using that for Caterpillar protection. Sorry I know that is a lot but you guys are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, thanks again

Humax is great stuff. At 1 tsp/5 gal. occasionally it will enhance your grow by adding humic acid.

Einstein oil is just very pure raw neem oil. For caterpillars or most other insects in the larval phase BT ( bacillus thuringiensis ) is a more appropriate solution.

I make a general compost tea from compost that I make in my garden. I put it in a sock then suspend it in a 5 gal. bucket filled with water and an aerator. I add 1Tbs/5gal. molasses to this then use it within a week.

This is what I do but I don't know if this is an appropriate amount of molasses for your purposes.

I feel like a dumb ass.. What is the different in in humic acid and humus. I amended my soil with alaskin humus. Should I even use humax?

Humic acid is the water-soluble (or suspensible) portion in humus, oxidized tannins iirc. However, commercial humic acid is obtained by alkali extraction of a lignite coal (leonardite) because it's cheap and easy to recover quantity from that source. It's assumed to mobilize trace nutrients from the soil. cn

a dark brown or black colloidal mass of partially decomposed organic matter in the soil. It improves the fertility and water retention of the soil and is therefore important for plant growth i add humic acid to my teas as well, i use soil humus, and liquid goodness from soil secrets, if you can get your hands on it soil secrets earth magic, earth ambrosia/earth nectar are an organic growers dream.
