Purple Kush is almost pure indica, there are many offshoot kushes, most of which are very different from the real OG. OG kush itself has a very lemony scent, coming from its sativa influence. You can look at the plant itself and see it is heavy sativa- the leaves, the branching structure, etc. It is a hybrid of course, the indica side coming from the Afghani Kush.

Check with the Oaksterdam University, which has the real OG cuttings and argue with them.
