Smoke Report
Harvested back in February and just wanted to give a smoke report after a nice long dry and cure.
Hella Jelly:
Pheno 1 - Harvested early in the harvest window. This one smelled skunky for a while, and during the cure it came across as more skunky grapefruit rind. Not sweet or candy like at all just skunky grapefruit rind. The buds are fluffy, but not airy. Soft and cotton-like buds. The smoke feel is absolute zero, meaning I can’t even tell when my lungs are getting smoke then I blow out a giant white cloud of almost an old school flavor. The flavor is cracked black pepper along with some watermelon rind. It’s a nice flavor and reminds me of some strains from the 90s. Potent! The high feels old school too. Like the stuff that gets you feeling like you’re in the smoking circle of That 70s Show. Awseome stuff, great pheno! Will definitely grow again.
Pheno 2 - Also was harvested early within the harvest window. This one smelled like hot garbage while it packed on the trichomes. I was excited! A dry and cure gave it more of an orange juice that you poured a splash of milk into. The first couple times I smoked it I found myself not able to remember how to fry an egg. Standing with the egg like…uhhhhhhh, looking at the pan lol. I haven’t smoked it much, but my buddy said he liked it a lot. It had a similar high as pheno 1 from what I recall. I just cracked a soft fluffy (similar fluff as pheno 1) bud open and now it smells like straight up lemon. I look forward to checking it out more now that I finished my Sour Power bud. Would like to see how this pheno would be with another 2 weeks. It was potent and not immature, but has potential to be a lot stinkier I think.
All Gas OG:
This pheno one was very unique. Black with thick, basketball orange hairs. The buds were nice and big, appropriately dense. Breaks up real nice. For the first few months the buds smelled like Nag Champa incense, tasted like cloves and incense, and when you smelled the smoke in the air after hitting the pipe it smelled exactly like burning sage. Like a smudge stick to ward off witches. Over the next few months it seemed to become sweeter with a unspecified candy like sweetness. The high is best described as “floaty”. Nice mellow but not sleep inducing high. Very floaty. Very potent. Great pheno, would grow again for the flavor and smell alone.
