What's up big lou? I'll assume you're in the second week of vegging, not flowering. So, you'll want to keep the humidity level up for veg, 60%-70%. Temps 75-78 degrees for lights on, 8-10 degrees cooler for lights off. For flower you'll want to drop the humidity down to keep mold from growing on your buds(if you're lucky enough to get a girl first time out). Around 30%-40%. A lot of ppl on here would tell you straight away to go read the "GrowGuides", but I like to help the new guys(and gals) out. But you might still want to go read the Growguides, LOADS of great info in there! Best of luck with your grow, bro!

This is not correct. You never want your humidity to exceed 60%. 40%-60% is the ideal range. For flowering, you want to be on the lower side of the scale, closer to 40%. As for temps, you want your day temps to be between 65°F-80°F, and your night temps to be between 60°F-70°F.

That's what's great about this site, so many different opinions. I have been growing for at least 10 years, and have used the temps and humidity levels I stated above for pretty much all of my grows, except my plants that were grown outdoors. All with outstanding results. So i guess we're gonna have to just agree to disagree my man. One thing I am pretty sure about, you won't find too many ppl on here that would keep there day temps anywhere near 65 degrees. Peace. :bigjoint:

Opinions are always gonna vary from person to person. I think the differences have a lot to do with the particular strains being grown. Sativas and plants that are native to areas close to equator probably like the extra humidity. I've also been growing for over 10 years, but I usually stick with Indicas because of the shorter flowering time and shorter height. My experience has been that a lower humidity works best for those. I probably should have qualified my statement better rather than just saying you are wrong, cuz you are not wrong :-D My main reason for keeping the humidity down is to prevent mold. Regarding the temps, I keep my grow room at a constant 77°F when the lights are on, and 65°F when they are off. But the ideal range I listed is correct even if the low end is a bit cooler than you would like. Keep growin brotha!

Our temps and humidity levels are pretty close. Like you said, different strains respond differently to certain temps and levels, so there really is no one perfect scenario. Check out the picture of my temp and humidity meter that I just took tonite. We couldn't be any more close if we were growing in the same room. The other pic is my latest. It decided to do a split and grow two tops for me. I'm pretty sure it's a female, a little longer and I'll be certain. Take it slow.
