Humidity and mold

I'm on day #7 flowering. Its been humid lately and creating high humidity in my room.
My temperatures range from 72 - 78. prime...although my humidity ranges from 55 - 65.
(I heard you want 40 - 60)

Nothing too crazy I just noticed a few of my bottom leaves are dying...a few lower fan leaves...I'm guessing this is normal now since there not receiving much light anymore.

I'm also noticing some of the leaves are producing condensation...a few and very little. Also there is a light powder residue on some of the leaves as well...is this normal part of the flower cycle? or is this a type of mold?

Will more fans reduce humidity? I currently have one booster fan running at full speed for my exhaust...a floor fan as my intake running at full and a smaller tornado fan and one oscillating fan. There seems to be a descent air flow within the room.

Please advise.
Thanks!!:leaf:

Oh crap yeah powder mold. Get some peroxide/ h2o2 in a spray bottle and spray the mold, it will kill it on contact(do not spray buds). (2 cap fulls , the rest water) get access to a dehumidifier or an a/c will reduce humidity also. If you think its out of control mold then get some Green Cure

the powdery substance u talk about would be considered very concerning. could be powder mold. a crop killer if not addressed. and yes more fans should reduce humidity.

I treated all my plants. I did the following:

1) pruned lower branches to approve air flow
2) sprayed with peroxide/water /or removed affected leaves...leaves had minimal power mold.

Everything looks back to normal...I will keep a sharp eye out.

I'm on day #29 of flowering. I'm still dealing with Powder Mold..and seems like it will never really go away. I treat it everyday by spraying peroxide water water solution. Seems to work fine...just pw is so annoying...ughh. Anyways can I spray the buds with the solution?

Neem oil gets rid of PM use half strength during flower. Get under leaves. I had that problem and used neem to get me thru. If you have poor ventilation then PM will come back

You must be having environmental issues that need addressed rather than just battling the symptoms. As you go further into flowering now, you'll have to fix the source cause you wont be able to keep spraying stuff on the plants now that flowering is well under way. At least you would prefer not to.

Cobnobular is VERY correct!

1:Use an herbal tea called "Horsetail Grass tea"

A: Mix for the tea as directed, cool it down to room temp, add to spray bottle and spray entire plant (buds too). It is safe, effective and organic. It works every time and cane be used right up to harvest.

B: Search Ebay for it. Better yet here it is in a link to the dealer. Buy the 1 pound bag for less then $16

2: You MUST sanitize the whole room and everything in it! (because this is the source of your reinfections).

A: Use a bleach mix at 1 TBL to 1 gallon of water.

B: Spray the walls, floor, ceiling, fans, tables, nute bottles, etc, etc. SPRAY EVERYTHING ON EVERY SURFACE! If you are in a tent in the room, you must do the room AND the tent, inside and out. Don't forget under the tent and it's bottom. (I use a 2.5 gallon garden sprayer)

3: Lower your humidity (You have ordered a dehumidifier) to 40% and LEAVE it set there.

If you follow these tips and KEEP the area clean. You should have very little trouble ever again.

Optional

4: Run C02 in bloom by a tank or generating system. I have never gotten PM when running C02 and feel it helps.

My blue dreams and double dream seem immuned to the powder mildew...My GSC are getting it the worse...then sour diesels. Nothing too bad...a very light layer in most cases...just annoying.

Yes, I'm thinking about bleaching the entire room very soon. I will spray all the plants with peroxide and water for now..then put the plants back in the room. Will the PW come back? I have a small dehumidifier in the room...it is collecting water...however the changes in humidity aren't too effective. My humidity levels are between 55 - 65 % not horrible but can be improved. Temps are between 70 - 75 degrees. My room isn't air tight....which is my next grow I will be using a tent. I'm thinking about pulling my exhaust fan from my hood light which will increase temps which should lower humidity levels by creating more dry heat. I will place the exhaust 240cfm booster fan at a high point.

My ventilation seems ok...i have 2 ocilating fans on opposite sides blowing at max.
