Humidity control

So where I live the humidity is always high, and I cant really afford to go out and spend 200$ on a decent dehumidifier and I've read a bunch of things saying that the small ones are crap, does anyone have any advice??
The past couple weeks it hasn't been too bad, but it's starting to hit 60s %rh. I'm only 2 weeks into flowering so I'm sure it's not detrimental right now, but I have a scrog set up and its packed tight, so I'm sure that it's not good maintaining that high of a humidity. And as it gets further into flower I'm sure it will get even more serious.
The humidity outside has been maintaining 90%
Any tips or advice??

You answered your own question dude. Bud rot sucks, $200 is kinda expensive, small dehueys are crap, You're gonna have to spend the money. How hard will you cry if half the buds get moldy? If the buds are skimpy they may not mold. Maybe buy the dehuey once they start getting fat.

Dehumidify the room.
Defoliate below the net.
Mop up any water.
Increase air circulation.
Make your own moisture absorber for the tent and bake it when it needs refreshing.

I'll pick it up sometime this week

Seedling I maintained it about 70%RH
Vegetative about 60% RH and gradually decreased to 50 the last couple weeks of veg.
And now I'm hoping to maintain about 45% for flowering
40% would even be nice for late fowering

Good to know. Thanks. I looked into Vapor pressure deficit. But to control humidity levels like that you would need thousands of dollars worth of equipment and still run the risk of powdery mildew

Oh man lol
That sounds real fancy and high tech, but I'm struggling just to buy a cheap dehumidifer, so maybe one day in the far future

One thing you MUST do is have a hose attached to your dehumidifier. Those little fill tanks fill up fast and the dehumidifier stops working. So one of the easiest ways is a hose going to a drain. Or even a larger bucket if you're going to be at work. I had one that would fill up in about 4 or 5 hours. Working 8 plus travel I could see my r/h climb after it got full. I'd empty it when I got home and it would drop. Empty before I went to bed and when I got up. After adding a length of garden hose and ran it to a floor drain. It was just set it and forget it. Well almost I still checked it every day

Yeah that's what I planned to do. My tent is set up right next to a window so I think I'll just hang the hose out the window to drain. Either way I got some 20gallon totes I could use if need be
I read that some of them fill up crazy fast, especially considering I usually keep my window open a bit for fresh air
