Humidity in grow tent

I live in a desert area it's really cold right now.... I have a 6x6 grow tent I recently unplugged my humidifier because it's been getting a higher than normal RH in the High 70s around 79.5. so now it's stable around 68 to 75 still to high even without the humidifier on. So I purchased a dehumidifier with the compressor. Is it normal for a grow tent environment to reach high RH during the winter?

Get an ink bird humidity switch that way you can just have the humidifier and it will only turn on when the humidity gets below a certain %. That way you dont have to constantly monitor it and turn on the humidifier or dehumidifier. If you really wanted to the inkbirds have 2 plugs one for high end and one for low. So you can plug the humidifier into one and the dehumidifier into the other... just make sure you eat the hi and low ranges far enough apart that they both dont run at the same time lol.

But the great idea thank you regardless of having a humidifier on or not in this case I currently haven't had my humidifier on for 4 days and the humidity is still high around 77.5

If I just set my dehumidifier to be at around a desired rh for example 58 wouldn't that be pretty controlled?

Yeah if your humidity is already that high that should be fine. Where I am I have the opposite problem... I have to heat my space so my humidity is low and also growing with leds you want your humidity higher. Best of luck to you man!

Right now they are clones that just got transplanted to bigger grow medium. How much humidity do you suggest the ideal humidity for Veg and Bloom be?

For veg and flower try to hit the target on the chart I showed you. You'll get the best results when you do.
