Hi Everyone. It's my first grow and I am trying to get my setup dialed in but am having humidity and temperature problems. I currently have a ggt 2x4 tent with an AC infinity cloudlike T6 exhaust. I currently have 2 GDP plants in a twin 5 gallon RDWC setup that are about ready (pics attached) The heat and humidity has been rough where I live, I have been fighting it in my tent for the last part of the flowering period.
I have a portable AC and a dehumidifier running. If I put the dehumidifier in my tent I have to hang it from the ceiling and it increases my daily max temp to up to 83 with am average humidity of 50-55% but will jump to 60-62 when my lights shut off. If I run the dehumidifier outside the tent, the temp will drop to about 74 max during the day but the humidity will jump to 75% when the lights shut off.
Which is the better option? Or is there a good high output dehumidifier that doesn't get so hot?
Overall, my grow has gone well, I'm just trying to get some recommendations for my next set of plants since these are getting chopped some time in the next week. Money isn't a huge concern (within reason) if I am able to get a lasting solution.
