Humidity issue in 4x2 grow tent

Hi Everyone. It's my first grow and I am trying to get my setup dialed in but am having humidity and temperature problems. I currently have a ggt 2x4 tent with an AC infinity cloudlike T6 exhaust. I currently have 2 GDP plants in a twin 5 gallon RDWC setup that are about ready (pics attached) The heat and humidity has been rough where I live, I have been fighting it in my tent for the last part of the flowering period.

I have a portable AC and a dehumidifier running. If I put the dehumidifier in my tent I have to hang it from the ceiling and it increases my daily max temp to up to 83 with am average humidity of 50-55% but will jump to 60-62 when my lights shut off. If I run the dehumidifier outside the tent, the temp will drop to about 74 max during the day but the humidity will jump to 75% when the lights shut off.

Which is the better option? Or is there a good high output dehumidifier that doesn't get so hot?

Overall, my grow has gone well, I'm just trying to get some recommendations for my next set of plants since these are getting chopped some time in the next week. Money isn't a huge concern (within reason) if I am able to get a lasting solution.

I'm also looking for a good humidifier. The 2 I have struggle to get RH below 50 where I live. So I'll be following this post.

Besides the exhaust fan do you have an intake fan any fans moving air around in your tent?
I do not have an intake fan, I just leave the 8" opening open at the bottom of my tent.

Inside my tent I have a 24x24 box fan hanging below my carbon filter blowing down on the canopy, a tower fan on the floor pointing up, a 9" round fan on the floor pointing up, and 2 clamp on fans under the canopy pointing up at the center of the plants. I am scrogging so my plants are incredibly compact, maybe only 12-14" out of the buckets.

Do you think an intake fan would fix the problem? I had been debating getting one but many people say they are overkill on a 4x2.

I had run into similar problems when I was running a 4x2 I would have to keep the door constantly open to avoid humidity spikes. You have so much plant matter in there there’s really not that much room for circulation

Yeah, even one of those inline booster fans will help. I've got a 6" pumping air into my cab. But 60-62% is not that bad. Get as many little fans in there and MOVE AIR.

Your 4x2 tent is like a tardis
I can't envision where a 24" box fan would fit

Nice looking garden! I had a 4x4 tent in an attic so I fought heat and humidity too. I put the DH outside, right next to the tent and ran a short 4" flexible duct hose from the DH output to a low tent port. I only covered about half of the output grill with the hose so that some DH air goes in the tent and some in the room the tent is in. It's tricky because you're pumping warm dehumidified air into your tent and need to cool it with AC. Temps of low 80's is fine for LED lighting, IME.

I wanna know how heavy that DH is hanging from your tent frame? You asked for suggestions, and I suggest you buy a bigger tent (if you have the space) they're reasonably priced and I think that added space would make your situation(s) a little easier. Just a thought.

Good Luck.

i used to struggle with this as well and went through every post there was about it.

intake and all of that doesn't matter if the RH outside of the tent is also high, but no one seems to take it into consideration.
