Humidity issues

I keep reading that humidity should be around 45-55 percent in veg and I can only keep my tent around thirty percent. That's with four plants and a humidifier running all day. Any ideas? I have the lower flaps on my tent open to help with air flow.

Either close the flaps or stick something to retain moisture in the tent like a wet towel. You should be fine at 30 though honestly. Its not going to male or break you really.

alot of people grow at around 30%. i would be more worried if it gets down to like below 20% for sure.

30% is just fine for veg, this is just about where my humidity is in my veg room year round.
