I put humudifier in the room. It makes foggy or heavy mist in grow room. ITs makes leaves wet. I also put fan but If I put the fan directly to humudifier. Humidity becomes %40 percent. If I increase humidty increase up to %60 percent but leaves gets wet. I m at veg stage. I got 600w hps. What do u think should I do?

The cool air ones work better. I use one in the winter when it is dry. I don't put it in my tent but in the room the tent sits in. The passive intake brings it up in the tent without the moisture. But you said "room" so maybe not an option.

Agree...:eyesmoke:
I grew in Az.. what humidity... like almost zero..lol
Just watering my plants kept enough humidity going in my tent.

Do not use a humidifier no need.
if your getting water on your leaves
its to humid.

If your trying to get a perfect environment I
wouldn't recommend putting a humidifier in
you grow tent but rather outside it pulling it
in through your intake.
But seriously don't worry about it and don't
let your leaves get all wet. unless you have
a very very big grow tent I couldn't imagine
a circumstance where I would want to put
a humidifier inside it only sounds like trouble.
good luck hope that helps.:bigjoint:

Hang wet towels. They dry out fast, so have the bottom of the towel dipping in something like a paint tray with water. It will wick the water up so you won't have to re-wet them constantly. Works for me.

That sounds like a decent idea. My first attempt at growing I had a towel hanging up and was re-wetting it twice a day...Fuckin annoying. As it is coming into spring now I dont think I will need it though as I can already feel it is more humid in the room just because of the outdoor weather.

I cant increase rH .I mostly make humid in the room. I think I will go with putting humudifier behind the intake fan. it seems the best idea

turn off the humidifier, forget the towels, you are asking for mold
dial everything else in before worrying about the rh.

I live in dry CO and the humidity runs between 12% and 60%
I pull fat buds

It is getting wet because the moisture coming out is getting on the plants, not because of rh in the air. So stick it outside of the tent, not right next to intake. The rh in the whole room will rise, the tent included.

i normally don't mess with it, only in the mid of winter when I want more humidity regardless of the grow. But when I have, I had no problems like described.

FFS leave the humidity alone unless you're dealing with clones, roots will supply all the plant needs and during flowering period you want it as dry as possible, especially if you have nice fat, dense buds.
Otherwise, enjoy the botyritis.
