ok i have poor humidity in my grow tent.

my meter is showing 20% humidity. ive tried many things to raise it but cant get past 30%.

ive tried buckets of water, wet towel hung over i bucket of water, bought a humidifier and still cant get over 30%.

my questions are .......

1)my exhaust fan is exhausting in the same room as the tent would it help if i exhausted the used air straight outside so as the air being drawn in is fresh & not used air ? (hard to exhaust outside as would make people susspicious so not an option i really want to do)

2)by moving the lights up would this make the air slightly better but will cause a drop in temps!

need some help folks any help much appreciated.

Yea just put pots and saucers ontop of the perlite. My humidity is between 45%-60% at all times. every 3-4 days I take the plants off the perlite, Then pour another gallon of tap water onto the perlite and mix by hand. IMO it's very effective and it's one less thing to plug into the wall and have to worry about. Good luck.
