Humidity Question ?

Hello,

The location I am at has very high humidity ( coastal ).

I need to draw in air to my flower room but was unsure which location I should pull air from without adding more humidity to my enclosed room.

My two choices are:

a) a hole through bathroom wall where there is a window

or

b) a hole through the floor where air is pulled from "crawl space"

Now if i pull air from the bathroom, i am thinking the moisture from the shower, tub, toilet will increase humidity.

If I pull air from crawlspace, i think the outside humidity will get in, but since it is low, i figured the air would be more dry since humidity tends to rise, right?. Thus the air will be more dry rather than the air coming from the bathroom whicb contains a lot of water sources, and a window that is high in the ceiling. (which would pull in the humidity that rise up.)

Dont know how humidity really works. Maybe someone here with a little knowledge can chime in.
Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would go with the bathroom as its fresh air going in the window. the crawl space has old dusty stagnant air.

Cool dark places are a great source to reduce heat like your crawl space. When growing humity only needs to be low in the last 2 weeks of flower. I run 50 to 60% all the time.

wish i had that prob - i'm fighting to add humidity constantly.

btw - anybody have a method for adding humidity to a room with fast air exchange?

I have to use the good vending machine water in the humidifier but my big ass blower sucks it out almost immediatlely. Costs me time and money and I wonder if I'm doing anything at all.

Get yourself a Reverse Omosis (RO) system if clean water is so important. ... LOL@'thegood vending machine water' ..never heard it called that before.
