Thanxs for the reply Zigg 80% sounds high thats wat the max for my temp is. I noticed that the higher i get the temp like its at 80.7f right now wit 63% rh . I think i need another fan. Ohio State is the shit .(watching the game hitting one looks like we are bout to score).

You are at a perfect level. You don't want it to high. 80% is way to high unless you are in veg and in soil. If you are in hydro it would be way to moist. Keep it at the 60-70% and your girls will thank you.

For Veg i keep mine from 40-50% in flower i keep it at 30-40%, (im in soil)....i worry bout root rot hence a little lower than 60% but ur fine i guess

60,70, 80%????? how in the hell do you guys stop mildew and bud rot @ those high flowering humidity levels?? I'm @ 47% and fighting white powdery mildew, de-humidifier arrives today. I don't understand......

Dunno. You're running an oscillating fan on lo-med across (but not on) your canopy?

Thanks guys. And yes i do have a hygrometer just bought it yesterday .+ rep to all . But how can i bring the humidity down?

I am not in a naturally humid spot but I do use the dehumidifier and that keeps me rolling smooth.
What are you saying ^^^^^^^^ here?

Lower humidity relies on moving air and steady temps above X.
IMO, you have to move the cooler, damper air from the floor of the grow area so the warmer, dryer air above can descend. I believe the upper air would be less humid, 'cuz moisture is heavier than air and thus, should fall . . . then again, I could be exactly wrong on that (don't think so, though)

Remove all excess water from area.

How do they do it? Airflow. A grow will be fine even at higher humidity if the air is moved around with fans constantly AND there is good exchange with fresh air for the stale air. Once mold sets in though, not so much. You just need to bring it down then with a dehumidifier.

i keep mine at about 45% when in flower and that works well for me 80% upwards is what i clone at seems high for veg or flower, but if it works then thats good

I turn the air over in my flower room every 5 minutes, and i have 2 oscilating fans on either end of canopy. And still the damn mildew.

countyboi, are you moving fresh air into your grow room and extracting out old air? This will help keep the humidity in control. Plants sweat a lot of moisture which evaporates into the air with the heat from your grow lamps, if youre not expelling the air and bringing in new air the humidity will eventually climb to 100%. 66% is a little high for flowering (Im assuming this is with lights on) and will probably be higher with lights off which is where the danger is of your plants getting bud rot.

Moving more fresh air through not only gives more CO2 to the plants but also helps remove humidity when lights are on and off.

ps mine is about 55% after feeding, 50% most of the time with lights on, and 55% with lights off. 50% is about the optimum for budding.

Thanks for the reply Jonus. I am checking out my grow right now and my temp says 78.4f and 31%rh so mabye it was because the hygrometer had to settle for awhile or it was just how it was that day but i can breath now. And to answer your question the only way i let fresh are in is by opening up the encloser and my windows its a sunroom with alot of windows do i need to do more? I still have the fan on if that helps .

Especially during budding it would pay to have some way of pushing that used air out of there. Your plants will love you for it and your humidity will stabilize.
