You'll have to think about a dehumidifier though if you start running photos. As soon as lights go out, RH rises quick, at 60% lights on you'll hit somewhere around 70% within 30 minutes of lights off. I have wireless temp/RH monitors that keep a weeks worth of data and can see temp/RH changes even when I just go into the room to water.

PM? Mold?

I'm in the coastal SoCal area. It's pretty clean here I think.

Sorry, PM is a form of airborne mould, Powdery Mildew is what it stands for. I had never experienced it until I moved into the area I'm in now. A bunch of garden bushes get it in my area, by end of the summer some look white with that shit. It's manageable but the best way to manage it is avoid it altogether. Some say it's caused by humidity, it's not, but higher humidity will trigger existing spores to activate/spread and affect the plants.

if you havent dealt with pm yet wirh high rh you probably won't have to. my area is teeming with pm, ive yet to grow outdoor and not see at least traces of it without spraying something. and when I first started indoor my covered my plants.

after cleabing my room thoroughly, I made changes like comitting the entire room the closet was in to growing which involved taking the carpet out of the whole room and covering the ply with two layers of 8mil plastic and changing where my air came in from (used to come from outside now it comes from inside the house).

Yeah it's a bitch but like you said it's manageable. When I first found out about it in my area I culled everything and re-started with some preventative sprays, cleaning, air purifier/filters. First time I got it I didn't know it was so bad outside, I was sucking in fresh air from outside, with PM spores - lol. I then built my room and hooked into the HVAC system, it has an air purifier inline so it's nice clean air.
