New to growing and my humidity has been high the last couple of weeks ranging from 72% to as high as 85% I have carbon filter,2 small fans and a small dehumidifier going in a 3×5 tent and cant but my finger on the problem

You have a dehum in a 3x5 and getting 85% humidity? I think the problem might be your hygrometer LOL

Lol i did drop it once or twice ill change it out.... i live in a very humid climate during these summer months thought that could have been the problem and my Dh is for a very small room it gets that high usually after I water

Just maintain extremely good airflow under, above and through your canopy. Lollipop your plants.

Thankfully, humidity in my area is going down now (flower humidity sensor is at 75% today) and will continue to decline for the next couple of weeks.

Might be of course, but if you have an alternative way of checking do that 1st.
