humidity

Hey is it possible to place a small amount of rice or salt in my grow cab to lower the humidity? If so, will it affect the plant? /

...anyone?

what is your RH in the cab now? i think baking soda absorbs moisture pretty good. or you can get some bags of those littel silicon pellets or what ever they are, the ones that "preserve freshness" know what im talkin about? i had several big ones in my room till i found out i dont want it super arid in there, then i actually had to buy a humidifier cuz it was like 15%, too low.. for veg or flower. anyway i think you wanna shoot for like 65% veg and maybe 40% flowering. it could be a little off but thats about right. and i think mainly you just wanna make sure its not over damp in there for flowering cuz bud rot and all.
