Humidty??

im having a problom keeping my humidty up in my grow closet i have a 400w halide for lighting about 16 inches from the seedlings they ar about a week old i have a 260cfm fan for exhaust and a 80 cfm fan pumping air in from outside i also a fan blowing constantly over the plants and i put a humidifier in the closet on full blast and i cant get over 30% humidity in the closet am i doing something wrong any help would be great thanks

thats a little low for veg but I wouldnt worry about it. just veg them and when you start to flower thats were you want your RH at anyway

I veg in a walk in closet and my R/H is at 35% they do great.I would take out the humidifier raise your 400 watt up pretty high I can take a pic of mine if you like. I veg with 2 400's I bet your temp is at like 86 am I right. dont trip off that either just want to get it down to 78 to 80 when your flowering

the fans probably dissipate a lot of the humidity... just turn the fan on low.

unless your humidifier is complete garbage or your room is bigger than about 40-50 ft2 you should be able to keep humidity up in the 70s.

i have a humidifier going in my grow closet with a low fan, and i'd guess the humidity is @ 70 or 80% (this is for seedlings).

Yeah my temp gets right around 85 to 88 in the daytime. How high would you suggest i go up with the light?
