How long have these been in-ground?. Considering it's still May, I'll guess not all that long.
If they were mine, I'd move them...hell you already have a solid 2-3 months in on those ladies.
Mine as well go the extra mile b/c it's gonna drive you nuts come September wondering if said hunter is stealing your hard work.

I agree they been in the ground for about 2weeks and some. I put them in holes like last week of april.

In your situation it's too late, but I'm considering installing deer/trail cams just to make sure nobody has discovered my plot without my knowing.
At least your intruder left evidence, and perhaps intentionally so.

Its too late isn't it? Its been two weeks. I was under the impression that the plant would die if I dug threw it roots. I know If I dig them up I will cut threw some of the roots with the shovel.

That's fine, they'll recover. Just dig out a wide enough circle to get most of the root ball, put it in a garbage bag, and move 'em. Move them, it's not too late. They'll bounce back. Better than the alternatives of abandoning the plot or just "hoping" they're still there in the fall.

Around here they trespass, drive off-trail, camp in no-camping areas, shoot everything up, and leave all their empty beer cans, propane bottles, shotshells, and bags of trash behind. I even got run clear off the road by two on a big ATV because they were on the wrong side.
Anyway, good to hear you got the plants safely relocated. I was going to suggest taking clones if you couldn't move them, but now you don't have to.

anouther option maybe would to have taken a fatt ass clone off the top of each plant rooted it again inside and retransplanted outside in a couple weeks, possibly haveing a plant left at the compromised spot to check on at end of year + anouther patch of your fav plants in a more secure area.
