I've seen both 1 & 2.......Jon Roberts and Mickey Munday would HAVE NEVER been caught if it weren't for Griselda Blanco.

I like the first cocaine cowboys much better.

Rivi and Blanco were fucking loose cannons, and fucking idiots to boot. Cocaine Cowboys pt.1 makes it clear........all the heat came down because of Griselda.

In fact it took the feds until 86 to catch Roberts. Even though Blanco was long gone from Miami by that time, you have to believe the federal funding brought on by the violence from Griselda led to their capture. Fuck, Munday was a fugitive for 6 more years after that. Roberts and Munday - they were the best. The idea of the tow truck just floored me in its brilliant simplicity. And just droppin off a car at a restaurant.

I think Griselda Blanco should be studied as a how-to NOT run a drug empire.
