Hydro High PPM Problem

I am having a problem with my ebb & grow system. I refilled my res last week with 20 gallons of nute mix and the ppms read steady 1550. Every day my ppms get higher and higher even though I have added another 30 gallons of 30ppm water with no more added nutes. My plants look perfect, except for a little spotting at 7 weeks flowering. I just calibrated my meter so I know it's not off. Is this like a disease or shit growing in my res? I'll throw in some pics.

your plants are only useing what nutes they need,as they take in water they leave behind unused nutes thus raising your ppm.

I know what you mean snocat, but i went from 20 gallons of 1550 to 50 gallons of 1900 in one week without adding nutes. That means my plants are shitting out ppms like a mofo. If they just didn't want the nutes, adding 30 gallons would reduce the ppms to 600 or so.

Organics (bacteria, algae, etc) in the water will increase ppm. You might have a colony growing in there. Is your res light proof? Does the nute mix look cloudy or have scum growing at the top?

Yeah, the res is black and the top is translucent clear it's a (B.C. Nutrients whatever the name is) brand ebb & grow system. I flush the res every two weeks, most recently last week and I looked in it yesterday and there's brown shit from GH's Flora Micro, it actually looked like a little much but I'm new at hydro and have no idea what it's supposed to look like. I've been having a lot of pH drop lately so I've been adding pH up a lot but not anything too much to make 50 gals turn to 1900ppm. But no, there's nothing at the top of the water it looks clean, I've got a lot of bubbles and a 400gph pump constantly mixing the solution.

Run straight water for a couple days and see if your ppms still keep going up.............if they do then your plants are being overfed........what about your res temps???

Alright, my plants are only about a week away so I'm going to start straight water in 3 anyway. My res temp goes from 68 in the morning to 71 in the evening, rarely going up to 72.
