Hydro - How long should I flush for?

I've had some problems with nut burn and lock out. I started a fresh water flush yesterday and I can see the edges are getting color back.

Just wondering how long I should flush with fresh RO water

Thanks

if its just nute burn in the middle of the cycle just once should be good now just lower your ppm of nutes and continue feeding. Peace

just remember leaves dont repair themselves its the new growth youre lookin for: if its frsh and green which it should be after flushing with a p.h. of 6 then you know you're on course.

if you are using a rinsing solution (highly recommended) then follow the instructions (usually 2-3 days). It also comes in handy for final flushing before harvest.

If you are using straight tap/RO water then it will take longer - like about a week to completely purge the nutrients (though this isn't necessary). A day or two with or without rinsing solution should get your PPM back down to acceptable levels. I would drain and refill the res.

bugsbunny is correct - don't look for damage to be repaired - look at new growth to determine if the problem is resolved but 6.0 is kind of high for hydro -- shoot for 5.5-5.7pH when growing hydroponically.

Thanks for the feedback. I wound up flushing the system for 1 day and then went back to nutes.

Since then they have been growing like crazy. They are now up 7+ inches and very bushy. There growing 3/4-1 inch every day. I'll update my grow report probably tomorrow.

Thanks All
