hydro nute used for soil ?

hey i bought some nutes from my local hydro store ....called "VITALINK"coco coir growth feed "a phosphite based nutrition .NPK 2.6/1/1.5 i did some research and found out its actually intended for hydro , i was wondering if i could use it for soil tho 2 ?

lol you bought a coco nute, made for use in a coco substrate. Either buy some coco or get a new nutrient source. It might work, but probably not well enough to make it worth using.

i just thought it was made from coconuts not for them , it says its good for salads herb crops and vegetative growth .

coco is a growing medium, I've never heard of it being used in a nute. You might as well use it, as that's all you have. I mean, it's not going to kill them but the concentrations are low compared to most soil ferts.

how can u tell that the concentrations are low ? by the npk ? cos this guy who owns the store recommended it , and im pretty sure u thought i was growing weed lol

oh man, hydro store guys are usually twats. they recommend all kinds of crasy stuff, not even asking the person whats going on, or even trying to interpret the situation. theyre just looking to make a sale. i always notice when i walk into places like that the people working there are like weird ass emo people with pretty died hair and fruity tattoos lol. theyre idiots. well for the most part. dont listen to them. if its your first times growing any plant, just buy cheap nutes. for veg i would say just buy any nutes that say like 10-10-10, which is npk.

and your other questions, yes those low numbers are npk. for veg i just use 30-10-10. it works fine, but anything like 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 will work.
