Hydro question

I know some says hydroponic plants grow faster and get bigger but my question is do they finish faster?

In my experience your main gain in hydro is in the veg. It’s fast as far as finishing they finish in the same time frame.

Exactly. In 30 days of veg in a good hydro system and the plant should be huge. Like vegging 2 months in soil. But reservoir temperature is critical especially with warmer weather here. Extremely critical. Daily pH and EC checks are strongly suggested. With hydro especially an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure.

Flowering time is strain dependant no matter what the growing medium. Flowering time can only be longer (not shorter) if plants arent in an ideal environment. Like hotrodharley stated, where you can save time for your whole grow is by requiring less veg time compared to soil as with hydro the plants grow much faster in veg.

Faster veg growth for sure.
I know my plants in a 3gal Hempy yeild substantially more then 5gal soil. Same plant same lights.
