Hydro seedlings under developed

Sup guys
i have 3 seedlings of bubblegum auto on the grow. The one top right seems to be stumped. They've all been treated the same apart from the fan got stuck pointed at the little one and dried it out nearly killing it but it was saved. That was over a week ago. Just wondering why it's not growing and why it's yellowing. No ferts have been used yet just ro water phd to 6.5. The temp is a constant 25c and hymd is 30-40%. Also any ideas what the green stuff is on the bottom left? Because it seems to like it as it's out grown all the others.

There is a bbc clip on you tube of guys growing algae to dry and use as truck fuel ....lol Bottom left ...lol most growers of autos will go to soil to grow an auto, as most autos are only with you for 10-15 weeks at most, coco for autos I would say is for the experienced growers only, not dissing you at all, just pointing out that this medium can be very rocky to the uninitiated !!
I have used coco...but by far prefer to grow the seeds out in a bubbler to 4-6 inches before adding to the coco, and yes light does attract algae, ...good luck!

Would you tell us what your method of growing is? Looks like you are handwatering rockwool blocks that have a hole to accommodate a plug which you don't seem to be using. So the seedlings are growing in a pit of hydroton surrounded by a soaking wet rockwool cube, something like that? is this supposed to be a flood and drain table? The rockwool shouldn't be exposed to light at all, because it will grow algae like crazy when wet. And tiny seedlings will have a hard time establishing robust roots in the excessively 'open' matrix of hydroton. Anyhow, I really don't think you are using the rockwool in a productive way.

The rock wall is a substrate for the seedling before the pebbles, there was no plug with the rockwool hence the pebbles to protect the root from direct light. It is a solid block of rockwool so the root system has no contact with an excessively open matrix of substrate. It's a dip system not f+d and I'm not using it until they are in veg.

I've watered them equally. Would that be a possible cause? It was as good as the others before I dried the fuck out of it with the constant air pummelling.

That's an interesting grow set up. Regarding the seedling that's not growing at all -- I accidentally did something similar. Two seedlings were just a little too close to the fan and dried out completely in three hours. They were so dried out they had flopped over and were lying on the cube. I watered and left them alone, and they recovered enough to straighten up over a week, but never grew. And when I gave the gentlest of tugs on the stem, they came right up.

If that little one isn't growing, it's dead. Not dried and shriveled up dead, but dead enough that no growth will follow. So ditch that one.

If you're just using ro water, I'd say your plants are not getting any nutes, feed it a mild solution, JMO..

You don't seem to understand plants need food (nutes) to grow, ro water has no minerals for the seedling to use, tap water would help but I always feed my seedlings a mild solution of nutes (around 200-300 ppm's), your plants will die if you don't feed them.

Dont know much about autos but I grow in just the hydroton pebbles no rockwool, Hard shit to get rite. I pull streight from cloner. so its alittle different, but plants that small dont need a fan, The fan is for strength of branches and overall plant strength, its alittle early to be worrying about the fan at least directly on the plant. for air movement yes. When plants are stressed in any way it stunts there growth it also hurts size quality of bud everything about it falls each time it is stressed. good luck
