so im thinking about doing a hydro set up 6 plants with a 400w hps in a 4x4x6.5 grow tent my ? is it worth it??

I think that would be a pretty nice setup. It actually sounds similar to the new setup I am hoping to get tomorrow. +rep for this.

im thinking about going with that but then again i want at least 8 plants but im not sure if that would work with the grow space and lighting?

a 400 watt hps should be fine for 8 plants, in my opinion. As for the room, you say it is 4x4x6.5? I think that would be alright for 8 plants. It depends on how tall and bushy you want them to be/and or they get.

not sure just yet thinking about veg them for 3-4 weeks and lst them with a screen short and fat ... and yea 4x4x6.5 or a 6x6 on of the two

Just do a few full size plants, less numbers, cost and work. Push for a massive yield

i might do that but i really want to do 4 def strains... 2 of each and see what happens. ill play it day by day till i get what i want
