Hydro to Soil ?

Just received a couple 5wk female plants, in rockwool form. I transplanted them into ffof in 5 gallon buckets.
-They will be under 600hps, Tonight will be their first 12 hour night cycle.

-Is this going to work?

-What would make this transition the easiest?

The later two pics are what i'm harvesting tomorrow morning.

Hey man, i wouldnt switch to 12/12 right after repotting them into the soil...
You want them to adapt to their new environment...
I would trim the plant down a whole lot, to avoid it from needing to much water, and promoting new root growth...obviously if you dont trim them back and keep them in veg until they adapt they wont change much but when they start growing again they could get a little too big for your room.. if you dont have enough height.. so yeah,
trim them back, and keep them in veg until they begin new growth......

Putting them in 12/12 right after having transplanted them from a hydro system to soil, may stress them a whooole lot...
Let these babies adapt ... :)

peace out

my room should support them i got a lot of height i'm wondering how i should nute them... because they will want nutes thru the rockwool but that would probably cause the soil to get really hot.. also should i water at a lower ph atleast for a bit? I hope they survive

Dont water with ph lower than it should be... in hydro its 5.5- 6 and soil 6.0 - 6.7,
But seen as they are stressed and you dont wanna mess up the new soil's ph, water them with water that is at a ph of 7....
the soil will work as a buffer... They will not die.. Please dont worry, especially when your near the plants, they will feel ya.:)
And make sure you dont over water either... Roots like to go looking for water ;)
