These are my two girls I have right now. They are in a 4x5 grow room with a 600 watt HPS light a foot above the top of plants. I have a 560 cfm exhaust running through the light to the outside. An oscillating fan to move air and strengthen roots. Temps with the lights on range from 80 to 87 F. At night with lights off they drop to 56 to 60 F.
One is in fox farm soil the other is a bubble bucket. Both are using nutrients from Flora Series Pro. For the hydro I'm using the Recirculating Pro Chart for the soil I use what is recommended on the bottles. I'm also using fresh ph'd water with ppm dialed in. The nutrient chart says I have two more weeks left before they are ready to cut. I might wait a little bit longer depending on how they look.
The tricomes are mostly cloudy with a few clear still. I haven't noticed any amber color forming yet.
i just wanted to share the difference between soil and hydro. The buds on the hydro seem to be larger and healthier. The hydro also has more bud sites and much fuller.
Im im not sure of the breed of plant. They were found in some weed i got from a friend. These plants were taken from my first grow. So these are clones, I did not top or FIM these plants.
I've been a long time reader, this is my first post with pictures of one of my grows. This is only my second and I'm continuously learning more.
any advise is greatly appreciated.
The first to pictures are of the hydro, the other two are soil and finally them next to each other.
