hydrogen peroxide

i have major root rot pretty much 80% of my roots are brown or dead , how much peroxide should i add to a 3 litre res ? its 3% , also can anyone recomend any other products to help out with dead roots etc . its sucks cos not only are my roots dying but its put the ph thru the roof and now my plants suffer even more .

I don't want to hijack a thread but I would like to hear from some h2o2 users as to how they use it, for noth prevention and treatment, doses and frequency etc, and also which h2o2 products they use for what. Thanks

I use a solution of 1 cap of peroxide Per half gallon of water. I use a large container soaking roots in solution for about 30min. each day until rot stops. Ive used Bleach with similar results.

So for those who use h2o2 as a preventive, do you use the 35% stuff or regular and how much per gallon how often. I couldn't find it in the Al B Fuct thread.

you dont want more then 2.5 ml/gallon of 35% h202. i use half strength for any problems.

math time!!! 2.5ml x .35 = Yml x .03

where Y ml is mililitres of 3% h202

some people use peroxide in their res throughout a grow. i wouldent recomend it. if your environment is in good order you should never need it.

rinsing roots in a hydrogen peroxide solution is a very good method. 30 mins to an hour every day until treaded.

i also used to medicate my res with h202 before it was light proof. i would start with 1/4 strength. wait 2 days, ad another 1/4 dose. wait two days. ect... then change water at the end of the week.

if youre growing right you shouldent need h202

I use 'Enzyme Plus' by Ferro I had root rot probs with my last grow & this stuff breaks down the dead roots..works really well.. You could also try 'Atami Atazyme' or 'Canna Cannazym'
