HYDRO IS HARD. HYDRO IS A WASTE OF TIME. HYDRO IS A WASTE OF MONEY. THERE IS NO DEBATE OVER WUT METHOD IS BETTER. SOIL TASTES, LOOKS, SMELLS, AND SMOKES BETTER....

maybe TEDIOUS is a better word..

HYDRO IS EASY, IF YOU ARE DUMB ENOUGH TO DO IT.

Ummm, kay. So It isnt HARD, just tedious? Or is it hard and a waste of money?

I thought most hobbies were a waste of money, unless you consider personal enjoyment a form of compensation. Didn't realize I was looking so stupid, was just trying to keep this thread simple and keep the debate as to whether or not hydro is hard. Sorry I didnt specify more clearly.

Guesss my answer would simply be ; "If you can grow in soil, growing hydroponically shouldnt be too difficult for you." "some exclusions may apply". Happy growing!

Just a few pics of my hydo projects. All these plants are grown with ebb and flow on 15gallons of nutes changd bi-weekly. EXCEPT the mothers in the small cabinet, 200ppm of nutes changed once a month. You want easy??? Try mixing 2 part nutes once a month, turning on a timer, and keeping the door closed for about 4weeks. Top off the tub with fresh tap bi-weekly, and cut tons of clones every 4 weeks. No pests, no underfed/watered, no mold, no brainer.:leaf:

I'm going hydro starting very soon. I followed a journal from scottyballs and using a single waterfarm, his plant grew 15.8 dry ounces. Do that with two farms in a 4x4 tent and have them alternating and you got a pound a month. Try that with two plants in soil.

Holy crap!! 15oz on a single? Imagine the damn room that'd take :) Unfortunately Im really low cielings, and limited on wattage, so I'm just trying to get 2oz per in EXACTLY 15weeks from clone cut each time. Nowadays seems like timing is more imortant for my setup. Man its wonderful to have so many methods and choices, few which are actually wrong! Growers Unite!
