hydroponic nute recommendation

Hey this is my first post, Kind of new to hydroponic growing.

Whats a good 20-10-10 nute combo for the vegetative stage and 10-20-20 flowering stage- and going about mixing these nutrients into the res/how much water with all the nutes combined

and would also appreciate tips on how to use some advance nutes/enhancers with the n-p-k combo above

Thx for any inpute/advice

hi. I bought my bubbleponics system from stealth hydro. My first 2 grows i used there included nutes and i must say i had very good results. At the suggestion of a salesperson there i decided to try some nutes that were specially designed for Hydro or bubble systems. I went with the Technaflora BC NUTES. they arent cheap but they arent real expenisve either.

With any nute solution you always want to start very low. My plants dont get nutes until im about 2 weeks in or once the root hits the water. I then give them a quarter strength. I give them boost and a bit of grow. Watch them , in 48 hours you would see yellowing or browning if you over nuted and at that point i would dump the res and add water and lower your dosage, this has never happened to me. Then after another 2 weeks they should be a few inches tall and better roots. I then give them the minimum dose, a week later i add just water to fill and then after another week i blast um with full nutes. Once close to flowering i add a bit of cal mag and awesome blossom.

I switch to flower and when i do i let sit for 48 hours in just water. I then add low dose of flowering nutes, 2 weeks later a full dose, and 2 weeks after that full dose plus sugar daddy . My last 2 weeks i use sugar daddy and a weak dose of bloom. My last week is all water with changing the res every 2 days.

If that seems painful you can do very well with boost, grow, and bloom only.

I like BC but there are many others very good as well. I say order the sample kit on amazon for 30 bux and give it a whirl.

thx for the replys, so in general lets say i go with a 20-15-15 combo, got a 5 gallon res, and lets say im using 3 different nutes/ fert the direction says add 10ml every gallon, so i top off the res and drop in 25ml of each nute cuz vege stage 50% of strenght? do I have to mix each nute sep or can i jsut dump em all together in a cup mix em then throw em inside the res and mix?

thx guys for all the inputs, im jsut confused

They cannot be mixed directly without water or nutrient lockout will occur.

You can one by one add each stage directly to the res. just make sure the three stages never mix together outside of water.

Here is what i do

I have a one gallon glass jug that i fill with water. I open up an excel document and configure it for the res size. Then i add the amounts listed to this one gallon of water. now i have a jug of nutrient solution. (no it cant be stored long term like that)

Then i add this entire gallon to the res normally once a week. Weed is a light feeder so i used a light solution with my last grow. Most of the time she required plain water so i watched the plant carefully and kept an eye on the Parts per million given to me by my meter. when the numbers dip, i would mix up another jug of nutrients. most of the time though, it was just wanting plain water.

My schedule is basically ran by the tds meter i bought. its a HM digital waterproof tds/ec meter. I bought mine on amazon. great device, takes the guess work out of hydro nutrients.

my post was assuming you were using a 3 stage kit like gh flora series, sorry i reread your message and you were talking about using different nutrients.

sorry for my noobness, so pretty much what your doing is filling a res with only 1 gallon mixed with nutes, u flush the res everyweek and put in new dose of water/nutes

the rest of the res is filled with clean water, as long as the nutrient solution numbers stay correct, your not actually flushing buy adding plain water. your just adjusting for what the plants are drinking. flushing is when there is no nutrients and you are running plain water.

See my plant was drinking about a gallon of water every three to four days, if i added nutrients every time it would be way to much.
