Hydroponic setup need help!

Hi everyone my setup is simple. I have the plants sitting in a rock medium. And i am using 2 40 floro's and i started these plants outside thats why you see one of them already flowerin. thoughts on what i should do with that one. and i was just worrying on what to do with the 2 other ones because they have seemed to stop growing. i recently flushed them and started off with micro adv. nutrients. also i was thinkin about adding about plant in there just working on germinating some seeds right now. Dont know what strain. and yes i know im a beginner so please give me some grief but also critique

Hi,

I would like to help but I'm not sure I understand what your question is.

What to do with a plant that seems to have stopped growing?

I take it you are indoors. I can tell you that one thing that stalls growth indoors is not enough co2 in the air. That slows transpiration. The fix would be to add co2 or get more fresh air in there.

If you got one in flower and two in veg and they will all be in the same room then I would think the best thing to do would be to go 12/12 on all three right now.

those plants that stopped growing I would assume are going to start flowering also. the go dormant for a week the exploded in growth when they start flowering. since your plants are out side I would say that the short days triggered flowering on you just let them do what they do.... grow! if you are bringing them in for the winter I would go 12/12 to keep them flowering. trying to get them to turn back to veg is pretty hard I never tried it but I hear it is very hard

yaaa i know its hard been trying for awhile and its been on 18/6 for awhile. and yes i figured that since it was outside that that is why it went into flowering but i was wondering if i could just keep it 18/6 and see if the other 2 start to grow some more for like say another 2 weeks or so.. then turn it to 12/12 just not to sure.. is there anyway when that one is flowering when it is fully matured to put it back into veg..?

yes, you can put it back in veg but the problem with that is that it takes an month or more. Looks to me like this is a small op. If you were to go back to veg to get a little more size you would need to do it for a month and the plants will over grow the space.

Only way around that would be to sex them after a month, pull the male then take a screen like chicken wire and lay it over them so they bend a bit. tie them to the screen until they stop stretching. SCROG

if I were you I would take a clone or two from the and reveg the clones since they need sometime to root and you can just flower these out

so ur saying just snip some clones offf the small female while its in flowering? is that possible to do.? and yes cruzer very small grow op just somethin to learn from. and just hoping for some free buds. and what is the purpose of the chicken wire an such?

Oh, well that would be a growing style nick named scrog for screen of green.

Its where you put a screen like chicken wire over the plants at about a foot in height and let them grow through the screen then bend them and tie them to the wire to keep them short and under the light. Its a way to grow more in a small space.

ahhh ok gotcha.... doesnt seem that hard to do.. thanks for the tip cruzer. ill have pics up later tonight cuz just put in a new light and they've been growing :) just not to sure it ishould sex them now or wait..?

well here they all are about a month old and the one on the left is looking to come back. probably going to veg them for about another 3 to 4 weeks then sex them hoping the big one is a female hah and i was thinkin i could start over on the one that was dying by putting to more in with some rockwool. got the seeds germinating just thinkin if i should pull it of just plant one in rockwool just to see what happens. but other than that they are looking good

So my plants are currently about a week and a half into their flowerin and i just today flushed the whole system and put some bc boost and bloom nuts into it. i am currently debating on weather or not to get a 250w hps or the 400w. just because the space i have it is a bout a 3 by 4 closet and about 6 ft in height so just wondering which would be better. and as you can see they are stretching a lot but i have noticed a problem with them on both of the big plants and i just don't know what it is so please help !:hump: also you can see the little guy on the end is doing just fine only thing is that im afraid it is not getting much light so i was wondering what to do?!
