Hydroponics and organics?

I apologize if this is a completely ignorant question but is there a fully organic regimen I could be trying? I run rdwc systems

I've been wondering this myself as I'd like to do some hydro someday but I don't want to go synthetic. The earth juice bottles say that if you want to use it in hydroponics system that you need to screen out the solid particles with a fine mesh screen, but I think in a RDWCs case, the circulation action would slowly raise the pH to an unacceptable level. This is a guess though as I've never done it myself. I'll be keeping a eye on this thread.

how big are the particles? I've run FF in there which leaves a mud of sand from the castings and stuff. It's just more work to clean between runs but if that's what they mean, I can live with that.

I guess that depends on what nutes you're using. Elkonia Kelp over at 4hydroponics.com (Growco) is the perfect kelp product for anything hydro system, it's the only clear kelp product I've seen. Organic Gem is also a really high quality liquid organic nute, I've used it in a recirculating drip I had going, never clogged.

Thanks Broom, I've seen the bio's b4, I'm extremely limited with room tho. Event the 4 bucket, 1 res systems are 3.5 buckets and 1/2" line max out all the room.

as long as your not running 1/8 ID tub and circulating that way. I ran FF in a circulating DWC and it clogged the piss out of my lines. had to pull the drip stakes out, then it pooped bat shit all over the place. considering how little the bat shit breaks down, i dont see how it does any good in hydro, or in indoor fastcropping.

Hey LBH. There's never an 'ignorant' question.. er well, I take that back because there have been some absolutely BRAINLESS threads/posts around here before..

Although I do run a smaller rdwc version than most, each set up is 4x 3.5 gallon buckets w/ 1/2" hard lines on a 5 gal res, I don't think clogging would be an issue, I used to run FF in these but the mud buildup at the end had me wondering if there was a cleaner way or a way where more, if not all, of the food gets used

its an organic concentrate. so no buildup.

loved earth juice in my old DWC setup. Very stable ph. never had to ph after the initial.

Hi there. I am using Botanicare Organic Nutrients in my DWC.
I went to Canada and got my seeds and the guy there said that is all they use with their DWC grows. They even had a few buckets of done product in the lounge area that was being trimmed ready to go dry, and it was super dank. Botanicare Pro Grow & Botanicare Karma for veg...and Botanicare Pro Bloom & Karma for flowering.

I am currently using these products on my autoflower haze. (1st grow) .They are in their 2nd week of flowering and I have to say I am pretty impressed with the results so far. I stay with 1/3 recommended strength. I just started adding botanicare sweet carbo citrus for flowering because the guys at the local hydro shop recommended it. The only issue I have is that their "ph balancer" tends to make the ph drop to low 5's. Its not as accurate as advanced nutes from what I hear, but I just adjust the dwc res every other day back to 5.8 and haven't had any problems keeping it in check.
