You should sprout the seed using a damp paper towel folded over. Dampen the paper towel, fold it a few times, place the seeds on it then fold again to cover the seeds, place on a small dish with a bowl upside down over top of it and place it somewhere with a little warmth (dish dvr, stereo receiver, monitor, etc..)
Once the shell cracks open and you have a decent little sprout coming from the seed you are then ready to transfer to a better growing medium such as rock wool cubes. From there your mileage may vary depending on the type of system you are setting up so I wont comment from that point forward as to not give misinformation or ideas not knowing how you plan on finishing your grow.
