Hey guys,
I had a terrible case of pythium (caused by a case of over loving with nutes) and after my favorite baby died I ran to the hydro store and picked up hygrozyme & SM-90. After reading countless threads on the possibility of algae production, the first couple of gallons I used to flush were only SM-90 which kills everything off and then the following 6 gallons had hygrozyme mixed in with it.
I crossed my fingers after being told that there was nothing that could save them. Two weeks later the growth stunt has been broken and they are over 3 feet tall.
Due to the severity of the situation I did not risk using each product independently. SM-90 is also killer for bugs because it gives you an alternative to pyrethrum. However, I'm sure some old timers would have a better idea crop after crop of the effects? This was just my experience with it, but I'm impressed =) Oh.. I'm in soil, 400 MH for veg and 400 HPS for flower, 3 gallon pots and I don't know how this applies to hydroponics.
Peace.
