Hyperan's First Timer Grow (Strain: Juicy Fruit)

Hey all!

So this is my first attempt at a grow of any size, but currently it's only looking like one of my two seeds has and will pop. Oh well!

This is my basic setup while I plan out and build my box, I planted these guys May 28th I believe, so they're still only a few days old. My one seedling has some obvious stretching as it was too far away from my initial light source. I'm currently using 2x 23w 6500k CFL's, with 2 more as well as 2 other 13w 6500's for when it starts needing more light!

I plan on using CFL's throughout the grow, and these are the general goods I picked up from local all purpose farm store i suppose you'd call them. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open ears right now because this is a learning experience for me if nothing else! Some of these pictures were doubles obviously. But I can't take them out, so enjoy my attempts at taking pictures! haha

I don't agree with the above post.

Grow whatever you want, Juicy fruit will be fine with LST.

They can grow big, though they are a hybrid. Just keep the veg time as short as possible and work with your plant.

Just a picture of my little seedling at just around 11 days. My first light did alot of stretching, so the veg has a lot of catching up to do it seems :(

Yep, just like tomatoes. However deep you bury them, it doesn't matter because the stem will root like crazy

Day 22, transplanted into my final growing pot, mixed up my crappy walmart soil with about 30% perlite and the plant has absolutely taken off. During transplant the light touched a leaf I believe when i was repositioning the lamps. Just gonna let it suck out all the nutes possible and cut off the little burnt part. Really excited with how quickly it is going now!

that expert fertilizer is gunna burn your plants man, even a small pinch in a gallon will burn your shit, i advise not to use but thats personal preference. others may use it with good outcomes,, try picking up some nutes if your gunna use nutes

20$ for 1 quart big bloom can last you a few grows easily, and Alaska fish emulsion is like 8$ for 1 quart

i meant returned the expert fertilizer, haha sorry i was pretty blown last night.

quick diagnosis from anyone? IMG_8434.jpg i've got this yellowing and slight burning on some of my lower vegetation, it looks like it could be nitrogen deficiency, but i literally just switch the plant over to new soil that has light ferts in it. think i should feed or flush?

2 days into flowering, after fimming the top, the two main branches have started sprouting off and the plants gone into overdrive. I need to get more lights.

so I think I may be having a little bit of a problem. It's been 6 days since my last pictures and looking back it doesnt seem like the plant has grown vertically at all. I have it in a 5 gallon bucket, so I don't think it could possibly be root bound, but it also isn't absorbing water like at all. I fed it around a week ago now and the soil still feels almost completely saturated still. Any reasons this could be happening?
