from flower and from hash are both great. From hash. It lasts a little longer before the lipids start to crystalize. That's when it melts on itself.the high from hash rosin seems to last longer.

you press at about 221-230 degrees with a digital hair straightener. You press 0.3 at a time for 4-8 seconds Anymore and yield will be smaller. Its best to use Teflon oil slick sheets rather than parchment. It takes about 10 min to make a gram of rosin.

with flower you place a bud between parchment or slick sheet.then squeeze with the flat iron. With hash. You place the hash between a 25µ screen then place that screen between parchment or slick sheet then press. The oils excrete onto the sheet. You collect them with a dabber. If you hold the press longer you get more waxy / sappy product. Less more like hard candy / shatter. Higher temps will make it more waxy too.

I'm currently using it at 400° . Thats fine for flowers. You want lower temod for hash. I'm flat broke. I have loot for groceries and bills. But nothing else. So I have to wait til after next harvest to buy a better iron and and Teflon sheets.

with a t shirt press. You still want to press 0.3 at a time. You can do multiple 0.3's spread out over a t shirt press. You also have to modify the press so the plates touch each other when pressing. Also remove the silicone.

apparently on the rosin tech group on facebook. I sparked a huge debate on the pronunciation of the word rosin. I can't help but laugh. I just asked a question is it raw Zen or roe Zen. On hash church they say both.

Raw-Zin, or so I thought.

Fellow inda-gro user here. Just curious, if you had all the $ to spend over at this point would it be on inda-gro or one of the led's your using?
I have been interested in LED too but it just seems so expensive and changing too quickly to jump in quite yet?

not sure. Of course it would be cheaper to DIY cob leds. I plan on building some soon. Its a toss up. Right now the cob panel in using is outperforming the Inda gro at 130 watts less. The Inda gro covers a slightly larger area though. I'd have to wait til they're down. Almost every strain I've done under the ig chunks up the most at the end. Led, the growth seems more gradual..

Are you running your 420 with pontoon over a 5x5? If so, how well would you say the coverage is out at the outer areas beyond say 3-4ft?

I'm covering a 4x5. The light is about 10 inches from the canopy. But the plants 4 feet + tall.from the top.of the soil.

Hey I just grabbed some cherry pie clones. I was under the impression it was a clone only strain...curious as to how you have a male of it or is it available in seed form?

it is a clone only strain. There are seeds probably but never released. Jig of the cookie family created cherry pie as well as girl scout cookies.

I got a seed from the last plant of.it I grew. There was one seed on the whole plant. It was in the lowest larf bud. It was a big, dark , striped seed. It turned out to be a male.

That's cool. I didn't know you could end up with a male from a selfed seed. That should be fun to play with
