I am a failure

Last growing season i tried to grow 3 plants. Haze, and 2 white widow...
Well... I failed... obviously... My guess is I was listening to retards instead of GROWERS which should have been my first choice...


so thats why im here. I want to get to know these growers who constantly turn out sexy plants so that i can as well do so next season. My plan being a plot in the country for about 15 different plants and strains. I want to know the risks and how to avoid them that go along with growing out in the middle of nowhere.

Ive been reading posts on here for quite sometime now and have been a little shy to jump in, but it seems like you all are great people as most of us smokers are and im ready to learn all i need to know to make this happen... If it doesnt i doubt i will be able to smoke for a long time... money, ya know... I just thought i'd introduce myself and let you know im gunna be asking many questions, esp. closer to the coming spring. Thanks ahead of time for all your help

I wouldnt. It depends where you live, local laws, and where your growing outside. With outdoor grows, if it gets found you lose plants. If you grow indoors, you get caught and you lose more than just your plants.

I think there are people on here that talk about other stuff than growingwhats that all about

# of posts means nothing. you see ppl with 5000+ that have been members for like a month these days

I bet you've probably learned enough even if you failed that you wouldn't fail again though. Or at least enough to know what advice sounds like it has merit or who's talking out their ass.


Some quick advice:
Don't grow outdoors in one single area. And Not on property you own.
Instead a plant here and a plant there and not even remotely close to eachother where a theif or cop theif could see one from the other or just follow one path to get them all.
Get a gps and mark each plants location in it and back that data up. So you don't confuse yourself.
And grow indoors too, in just a small enough scale to ensure that even a drought or plague of locusts doesn't leave you flat busted again. Even a 1' deep x 2'wide x 4' tall box with three plants can be enough and most places in the world they won't take your freedom or house for that.

Oregon said it right. Take note from him. One Guy says finding the right spot is the hardest. As much sun as possible, the higher up, the better air circulation. Getting water to the dam things is a major problem for me. No trail, no vehicle near by, it's a problem that has to be figured out. As A "Failure", the common rule is that to become a "Master Gardener", you will have killed 1,000 plants before you become an expert. You are way ahead of the game. Good Luck.

Yes finding the right spot is definitely the hardest part. Iv seen a few tree top grows, a little work but worth the results.

What I want is one of those houses with flat roofs
Throw a few up there with some legal plants.

Here outdoor stuff is simply stolen...........Much better inside.

i cant wait till spring!!! last year i didnt know alot about growing, but when i started indoors i learnt alot so im going to start them inside then transplantout doors. they blend it with the garden and weed line!!!!

google earth and maps should be your start... that can save you lots of time trackin trails ans shit. know where your going before you get there. I have been using it to map out my areas, and you would be shocked to where im stuffin a few plants.

Dont use google maps.....Dont look for clearings and trails, thats way to obvious and someone Will find them.

You need to go out to the middle of fucking nowhere, pull over and start walking into the Forrest with your GPS. When your somewhat confident you found a place that is in the middle of nowhere then plant a few, and find another place. Make sure the other spots are way out of the way.

Just imagine a normal person walking through the forest, they will follow trails, even crappy trails. Same with animals. The last thing you want to do is go along a trail and plant a bunch of plants "hidden" along the trail.

Just think about it, when your were young and just started blazing, if you find a Weed plant your gonna look for more in that area.

You need a place with a water source, and lots of thick forest.

Two things for ya. One, Gorilla grows are a lot of work. I suggest you start out with one or two plants at first until you figure things out. Trying to maintain 15-20 plants in the wild is a hefty chore for even the most seasoned growers, especially IF things start to go south on ya. Two, I always tried to find a remote, little lake or pond to plant on the bank of. Makes things a lot easier if you don't have to worry about getting there to water in the HOT summer months. As the plant grows and the roots go down, they eventually find moisture from the pond. Just don't plant it so close that the roots are always in water. Best of luck to you.
