i've been smoking for years and i aways get high, i've never developed a tolerance
don't bet on that ;).

second you get an amazing grow going and if you start smoking a lot every day, you bet your ass you'll develop a tolerance.

your cannabinoid receptors get tired and go into down-regulation, so less of them work the way they used to so with mass quantities they get tired and stop getting you high. there's tolerance for ya.

not the same at all. I could have smoked chronic green for years and never developed a tolerance if I always kept it at the same amount.

your tolerance gets fucked up when you start smoking more. if you keep your levels the same and your tolerance is already perfect then you have found your perfect balance and CONGRATS.

but if you start smoking more at any time you will develop tolerance, no matter what.

np glad you saw it as it was ;) +rep to you too man.

I've had the misfortune of fucking up my tolerance, but I learned the chemistry behind it so I understand what it takes to fix it and keep it low. just need to take a break some time, when I feel like I can handle it.

weed is pretty important to my quality of life. so it's hard for me to take a t-break.

I think you also forgot to mention that there are different kinds of cannabinoids that are found in different concentrations due to the exact circumstances of the grow/strain/grower/smoker. There are also a couple of different kind of receptors in certain places in our brain that regulate the processes and functions which the cannabinoids affect or effect depending on many kinds of factors such as: body weight, or substance intake, diet, air quality, overall health of consumer, ethnicity of consumer, type of consumption etc. Realistically there are so many factors that contribute to the tolerance that an individual has for one substance or another that it is almost impossible to scale in an acceptable fashion. In other words, "It all just depends". The final flush, harvesting, drying, curing, and fertalization processes all make a difference too.

I am aware of the differences, but the point I made stands. if you have a stable tolerance and you smoke more, your tolerance will increase.

changing strains due to different levels of different cannabinoids (as you said) will have different affects on the high and tolerance, but it still stands that if you increase your intake in any type of weed your receptors will react accordingly.
