grow room at 86f plants a bit limp, could it be too warm, four of barneys farm lsd are in the worse state, when i enter the growroom after the dark period in the morning all the plants look healthy as hell.

i have got some blackfly or gnats or something but only a few i will get neem oil in the morning maybe my plants could be rootbound too,

what do you think. they are 5 1/2 weeks 4 days into flowering.

4 other different species seem to be ok its the barneys farm lsd that are struggling.

86 isnt really to hot, root bound would make them look droopy, so would under and over watering, like above said pictures would be handy, check the roots first quick and easy to do,

everything is ok in the root department, the roots are healthy and white, maybe a little root bound, but everything seems very very dry and pots are very light, maybe the hot temps are too much for the 200ml of water every 2 days, maybe the LSD need more.

I had some barneys blue cheese a few months back and left them for a day too long between watering, they all drooped over from lack of water, watered and within 6 hours they were back up.

But as stated pics would be best.

yes the heat will mean you need to water them more and if the pot is dry then there proberly drooping through lack of water, also if the starting to look root bound then i would transplant them, which also means the water should last longer in larger pots! i no ive got 3 diesel strains and there not root bound but could do with going in larger pot, i need to water every day because they are drinking what water the pot holds fast.

they are probably ok man if you are 4 days into flower then they are transitioning to the new nutrients you are supplementing. Forget the neem oil unless u have too man just hang sticky traps 1ft above your plants that should get rid of those nats and not have to use any un needed solutions.

Sounds like underwatering to me.

What size pots are you in Wee?

J
they are only in 5 litre small pots, i watered 1 hour before lights off last night, when i went in this morning they looked a hell of a lot better, i think i am under watering, i am going to double size the pots in a couple of days. i was only giving them 200ml every two days, do you think this is too little in 86f , maybe i should just drench the pots through, i have only given quarter nutrients too as it was new soil about 10 days ago. i noticed my humidity was down to 22% last night too before lights off. it was 63% this morning, fuck this is getting confusing,
anyway i have turned a humidifier on, i have watered, and now waiting with fingers crossed. i am going to take pictures today and will upload later on.
thanks to all who are trying to help.
plants looked very healthy yesterday morning now 2 plants have yellow leaf half way down to the bottom.

and i noticed my largest healthiest plant had developed yellow spots on about 6 leaves in only a few hours.

anyway now they are picking up.

the pots are probably your problem! to small for the root and plant size, so your plants are drinking what little there is very fast, its like you having a drink and only having a bottle top lids worth of water every day!

i doubt it is pots being a problem. maybe under watering. yes plants get root bound, but to get to the point where they are constricting themselves to death is damn near impossible, if they are rootbound you just need to water more frequently. you could stick with the pots you have, but uh...you seem to be a bit new, so it would be better for you to transplant prob.

yes but i have a few gnats flying around too which suggests over watering, but maybe they are because of high night time humidity.
anyway they are the reason i watered less.
they were a little present that came with the new soil.

would it be unwise to water everyday, or just double my watering dose every two days, can anybody help?

i am new to this game, i was a joiner bathroom/kitchen fitter, with an electrical work background too, i built a grow house with sealed grow rooms to operate with a good grower but he got paranoid and is scared to come near the place the fucking idiot, and it was his idea.
i even managed to cut in to the electric supply under the house bring in a new feed and fit a new consumer unit (fuse box) in a hidden position for free electricity, when the meter man comes he opens the meter cupboard takes a reading and then heads to his next customer, he is not giving a fuck as i make sure i pay about £10 a week in normal electric power. i think the grower freaked out on his skunk. LOL.

seems like i put 6 months work and all this cash in for nothing now, unless i can get these plants going.

tell you what i have pictures from week 1 to week 4, i will take some today and upload. the 5 week set.

ALWAYS WATER UNTIL YOU GET RUNOFF this will help stop accumulation of salts building up in your medium.

In a 5 litre pot i would use approx 1 litre to water each pot.

what i meant by pots being the problem is basically under watering because the pots cant hold enough water to keep the plants going for a full day, basically the soil is going to dry b4 the next watering. also you shouldn't be having to water your plants every day which also suggests to me that the pots are to small for your plants, just my opinion. in my experience you should get at least 2 days between watering so water every 3rd day! maybe even 4, as above said if you water like he has explained
