BS ALARM! MYTH ALARM!!!I hate to do this but I will . If your not using organic nutrients you need to run fresh ph water the last 7 days to get those nasty tasting nutrients out . please before you post he does not need to flush make sure you tell him only if hes using a good organic not a chemical fertilizer, if you don't flush that heavy 16 out. once I have used you will taste that nasty stuff in your smoke and donte ver plan on getting it tested from iron labs it will fail ! my opinion . and its correct from my experience . sorry to make this thread into a flush thread .

I take it your using synthetics.....I would feed till the last few days (by looking at your plants trics and going Mmm 3-4 days) and simply straight pH'ed water till done......There is plenty of nutrients in the soil to last that short period..hey sorry to thread hijack here but i have a few questions i'd love to ask if you don't mind.
I used to flush but after reading these things i've decided that i may have been doing things incorrectly and would like some advice.
In the final few weeks b4 harvest do you give nutes? If so when do you stop? I only ask this because i don't really do like a huge flush but in the last 2 weeks (of a 8 week cycle) i pretty much just give water but if this is incorrect i'd like to know.
i use botanicare pure bloom/cal mag and fox farm solubles (beastie bloom/cha ching)I take it your using synthetics.....I would feed till the last few days (by looking at your plants trics and going Mmm 3-4 days) and simply straight pH'ed water till done......There is plenty of nutrients in the soil to last that short period..
In my experience, I have almost never had any strain do an actual "8 weeks" etc. as a breeder report says. The best quality is done by watching and learning to "see" when the plant is done and harvest then. Usually, 1-2 weeks longer then reported, sometimes a bit longer......PATIENTS is the key to growing - harvesting and drying/curing properly
Reach out to Www.grow-better.com. they have a super easy A/B line, and they are willing to give out samples. Couldn't hurt to try a side by side with Heavy 16 and any other freebie/sample.I don't have a system. I mix and water by hand. I don't know enough about nutrients or what the plants truly need to drop a full line of nute.
