I Call It: In it to Win it. Part II. The Billybob Saga.

So I'm back with another grow. Anyone who has seen what I did before, I did a nice scrog with some Strawberry Cough and Blueberry from DP. Well now I'm back in action. I now have TNR from KC brains, Euphoria from DP, Brainstorm from DP, AK-47, Grand Daddy Purps, Grapefruit, and Sour Kush(Sour Diesel x O.G. Kush).

Right now my clone/veg/mother room has a 450 watt 8 bulb T-5. I have the rest of my plants under a 1k MH and a 1k HPS. Everything is still vegging at the moment. I am using Canna Bio Terra Soil in 7 gallon Smart Pots for flowering. Clones are in 1 gallon pots.

I am using the Full line of Bio Canna nutrients. Rhizotonic (this stuff is the bommmmmmmb for root growth, never seen anything like it), Cannazym, and Bio Vega right now. Once I flower I will start to ween them off the Vega and onto the Bio Flores and Bio Boost. Thing about these nutrients and this soil, there is no need to check ppm or PH. As for PH, the nutrients have acids in them that keep the PH perfect. As for the PPM, it's impossible to measure in organics, but this system is very easy to use. I am using 10 ml of Vega, Cannazym, and Rhizo per gallon for my full strenght nutrient. Some plants want more, some plants need less. Man, soil is alot easier to tend to each plant than hydro. Thats about it for nutrients. Little bit of Neem here and there to keep bugs in check. I also have alot of ladybugs keeping my babys nice a healthy .

The big plants are from seed, about a month old, are under the MH mostly. The smaller ones are 2 week old clones and are under the HPS. Here in the next couple days I will be inducing flowering on the plants in the flowering room. The clones will go for at least 2-3 more weeks to get large and in charge.

I am using a CO2 generator and am keeping my levels at 1300. Temps range from 72-78. Humidifier keeping things at 60-80% for now.

Only 2 1k lights ATM. A "few" more are going in tomorrow. Plus a couple Can Fans to vent the lights and carbon scrub the room.

Im scribed ! I read your last journal and was amazed at your yield. My state has a 6 plant max so the scrog would work great for us. We can grow 12 and was on the fence on organic soil of hydro . I have grown outdoors in soil but the hydro would be new to me. I played around some with a homemade hydro unit i built and seems like its reallty not that difficult.Flood check ppm and ph and adjust nutrients to growth . Looking forward to this grow for sure. Newbie guy pulled up a seat to watch . Let the training begin lol !

Sorry missed the fact your using soil ! This is something i can relate to. I plan to use foxfarm ocean forest and light warrior mixture with foxfarm nutes. Grow big , big bloom and tiger bloom. Plan to use 20 gallon tubs and one 600 watt hps with conversion bulb. Can you give me your opinion on a bulb choice for vegging ? I hope to get a second 600 ?

2 more 1k hps's in the flowering room today today. I will be flipping the lights tonight! WooHOO!

Big Bud's: Hortilux just came out with a new Super Blue dual arc lamp. Supposably it has a MH and HPS light in the same bulb. Looks pretty neat. Look into that. But as always. More light=more buds.

More pics. Everything is going flowering now. The small girls are grapefruit and just got potted and placed in the flowering room today. Big girls are 2 days into flowering but much longer veg. Tell me what yall think!

2 more Lumatek 1000 hps's going in there tommorow! Maybe a few more plants if I can make some room.

2 more Lumateks and a few more plants are going in today hopefully fill the room. Also venting all my lights tonight. Gotta change out the co2 tank tonight too. Been running 3-4 minute injections every hour and a half.

billybob- i too am using the complete biocanna line for my first grow. the guys at the grow store swear by it. i was wondering, do you feed every time you water? not many people are using biocanna so its hard to find much info about it online.

Yes I feed every time I water, which is usually every other day. Little girls get a splash of full strength and then some normal water to dilute it down. Big girls get full on pumpings of full strength. When your plants are just starting out. Just used about 1/4-1/2 strength Rhizo to get the roots going. Once they show some growth I step up to full Rhizo. Once they enter veg and look like they can handle nutes I start with a 1/4-1/2 strength Vega and full Rhizo. Slowly increasing the Vega and decreasing the Rhizo as they head towards time to flower. The little card that came with the nute line is pretty darn accurate. Just chop those strengths in half at first and see how your babies like it.

right on! sounds like i took the right approach to feeding. i am actually already through the veg stage ( bubbleberry clones for 3 weeks) and i am one week into flower now. i have started to taper off the vega slowly and gradually feed more flores and boost. i just worry about when to totally cut out the vega because i don't know how long into flower the plants need the N that the vega provides. what do you usually do?

Honestly this is my first time using the Bioterra line. From what I've heard from another person is that they continue to taper off the Vega up to a month into flowering, then totally switch over. Just got my 2 new Lumateks hooked up! I also found out that 4 of my 9 TNR's were males . Oh well, no big deal, even though they were some of my best looking plants. Thats just how the game goes when you start from regular seeds. Clones for me from now on.

God damn is it bright now with the other 1k's up. My temps run about 76-83, with no air conditioning. I was just bringing in a little fresh air through a duct with a fan but now im exhausting my lights outside now and all of them are cooooooooooooool. I like it to run kinda warm cause I'm pumping so much co2. Pic in a second.
