Actually, you do in fact "do" DMT every day and so do many if not most organisms in existence The molecule is structured to receive different levels of consciousness found in higher densities, but anyway it's responsible for visually translating dreams to the mind. And let me add that you cannot overdose on mushrooms (you need to eat multiples of what the stomach is capable of holding, at which point you would be too high to funtion) and that no one has overdosed before. Let's look at the definition of drug: a substance that has physiological effect when introduced to the body. I hate to tell you this but by definition it is a "drug". You mean to say that it's not a dangerous one. Much in the sense that dog is man's best friend; cannabis is man's best plant. We are genetically fond of one another and virtually cannabis poses absolutely no threats to someone physically unlike most other drugs do. You will find the distinction within the law book between "drugs" and "hallucinogens". I find the case with most hallucinogens is that they really do not have negative effects on the body like many drugs do, but they rather affect the mind.
I'm with you however, but realize that what society calls "drugs" are not just the dangerous ones like morphines and amphetamines. We consider coffee a drug ffs. I agree that if there's any one "drug" that isn't a drug, it's weed. Don't get confused with the definition of a drug and the level of fear society puts into the word. Put it this way: when you wanna burn up with your friends do you say "Hey dude let's smoke a joint" or "Hey dude let's go do some drugs". Most likely everyone says the first one because the word drug has a negative implication that you're doing something wrong.
ps don't let cn bully you because i'm almost certain he understands what you're trying to say but would rather attempt to disprove little things you say other than realize your idea as a whole; being that what most people call "drugs" in society does not contain a valid perspective with respect to cannabis, am i right?
