Just make sure its rated for the cfm of your fan, but Im sure you already did thatWell I closed up the size of my intake last night and was able to create enough negative pressure that a piece of thin cardboard will suck to the intake vent when the door is shut. It really almost killed all the smell but I bought a CAN filter and I am gonna install that later today when the lights come on. I think that should do the trick...I hope so at least.
The Can filter is almost double the length of the HTG growbright filter i have in there now.
I installed a CAN 2600 carbon filter and for the last two days there is 0 smell in the house. It says that this filter is rated for only like 90cfm (my fan is 170 cfm) but the guy at the grow shop says they can go all the way to 240 cfm. whatever the case this new filter works great.Well I closed up the size of my intake last night and was able to create enough negative pressure that a piece of thin cardboard will suck to the intake vent when the door is shut.
