I did dark period at end of harvest to early i think can i throw it back into a light

hey everyone i have a sensi skunk around day 65 of flowering its been in dark for over 100 hours i wanted to see for myself the whole darkroom at end of harvest thing. I did notice a crazy increase in trichomes and the buds look amazing only problem is alot of the new trichomes are clear i was wondering if i put the plant back on a 12/12 light cycle for a day or so would that help mature the clear trichomes to cloudy? i wanted to harvest soon in a few hours but was looking at the trichomes and was second guessing if i should try to turn the clear ones cloudy or amber or just harvest as is ? please any thoughts would help alot thank you this is my first grow and just wanted to experiment a bit.
 
You're pretty much commited to harvest now. You could try and grow a lil longer just keep a real close eye for hermies. I don't think that a cpl more days on 12/12 would do much good though.
 
I suggest you cut - learn from your mistake - and start a new round.
Don't want to stress your plant too much...
 
Even if it DID herm., I don't think you'd see any seeds in just a couple days.
Just curious though, 100 hrs?
Really? Why? I've heard of a couple days, but 5 days, I'm surprised she isn't wilted.

That's true. I was just saying if he wanted to go longer.. I'm not sure, but does the thc start degrading after they hermie? I know it does if pollinated.

Would a herm not be a female putting out male pollen sacks and releasing pollen onto itself? Hermaphrodites have both male and female parts... So if a plant herms, it will pollinate itself right?
 
I don't think it's going to make a diff. one way or the other at this point.
If he thinks he is early, puts her back under light, just the light will degrade the THC, but not enough to taste or feel, and to wait long enough to make and difference in the ripening, it would probably take a few days (week maybe?).
But, for a ball sack to form, and pop would take longer than that.
 
if you thought it was good to harvest before the darkness its still good now. i'd say harvest and smoke up your returns. why wait when it's done? :bigjoint:
 
Thank you everyone for replying im having a hard time decideing what to do. So you think i should just harvest now then? i was ging to do it in like 3 hours.

yes ik i have mainly read up on 48 to 72 hours but i have read someplaces tha people do more so i was curious. and no not willted at all only mre yellowing of the leaves because its sucking the nitrogen out i beilieve. But actually the buds look amazing and smell different then my other one i still have going in the light room the reason they both werent put in the dark room is bc i wanted to see the difference and the one in the light room is a week or so behind due to some complications i ran into at the start of flowering they were outside plant but then need to be moved indrs and went6 days till i bought a 600 watt hps and set up the inside grow.

thanks for the input man really appreciate it but do you think i should try putting back undera 12/12 cycle for a few days or even just a day or just harvest and dry and cure as best as possible ?
 
make sure that you strip the EXIF data from the pic.. the iphone will probably throw gps coordinates in the pic... unless you are legal, not good idea.
 
i didnt do that but im not to worried its only 2 in total and my last grow prolly for a very long time :( untill i work out some stuff but i dont think they would ever raid in NY state for 2 plants.
 
i plan on cutting in a few hours if i cant find more info on putting it back into a light cyle but thank you everyone for taking the time to give me your thoughts and ideas, keep them coming until i shop once i chop ill take closer and better pics of the one in dark room ik its kinda a blury pic. and ill take bettr trichome pics too

Hard to say, without knowing what your trichs look like, but if you have mostly cloudy, I wouldn't bother, unless you just want to experiment some more.

Hard to tell with the lights on, but she looks good..... Kinda lanky like you'll want better light next time, but nice nontheless.
The trichs DO look mostly clear though, I think it wouldn't hurt to put her back for a week then look again.
P.S. Your name, 'needsomeadvice'....... you're gonna be stuck with that even after you've been here a while......... Just a thought. :)
