I did dark period at end of harvest to early i think can i throw it back into a light

Thank you everyone for replying im having a hard time decideing what to do. So you think i should just harvest now then? i was ging to do it in like 3 hours.

Chop it!!!Those clear trichomes will mature a little as its drying, keep it dark with low humidity while drying and you should be good.GL.peace

Hard to tell with the lights on, but she looks good..... Kinda lanky like you'll want better light next time, but nice nontheless.
The trichs DO look mostly clear though, I think it wouldn't hurt to put her back for a week then look again.
P.S. Your name, 'needsomeadvice'....... you're gonna be stuck with that even after you've been here a while......... Just a thought. :)

lol ya ur rite man thanx for the advice. but would it be fin to put it back? alot of the leaves are turning yellow even the smaller inner fanleaves on the outsides of the leaf blades are getting yellow .
but do u have any ideas on it whats the worst thing that would happen if i put it back for a week? Will it hermi? will it affect taste and trichomes at all? and the pics of the one in the light is a diff plant same strain sensi skunk. ill try and post better trichome pics of the dark room one its weird bc alot of parts on the bud do have some signs of cbd and cbn and also cloudy and milkey trichomes but there is also areas just clear idk what to do really. If i wanted to could i possible only harvest some of it and put the rest back into 12/12 or would that be alot of stress all at once?

Wait and see what the experienced guys think, but those are my thoughts- what I would do if she was mine.

ya ik man so many ideas are running through my head lol idk what to do i wana harvest but then again dont wana ruin a nice plant ( my first plant) by harvesting to early and having shitty smoke but i can say it smells amazing and bc of the dark room i noticed the buds swell up like crazy

You could put them back on 12/12 after a 4 day dark period. I had flowering plants go 5 days of dark after a hurricane in sept 2011 without a problem..

But it looks done.. If it was mine I would cut it..

thank you so much dude bc im sitting here still wondering what to do but bc of what u said i think ill put it under 12 hours of light tommorow then 12 more of dark and then cut maybe itll bring some clear trichomes to cloudy?

Cut it and start over. Either way you wont get much more out of her. Ding Ding Ding next round, sooner you start it, sooner you chop it.

ya ik man but i wana see what will happen if i put it back in ligh for12 hours the worst thing thatll happen i think will be it form into a hermi but that would take days maybe weeks so i feel like 12 hours wont hurt. my only question is what chemically happens to the trichomes when theyre hit with light for the first time in 4-5 days and what stresses could that hold on the plant. i hope i get responces by 12 in the morning tommorow soi can get some insight before i put it back in the light room for a day.

Hard to tell with the lights on
the one with the lights on is my other one thats about a week maybe 2 behind the other one in the dark room the one still i my light room was the better froster looking one thats why i did the trichome darkperiod experiment with the other one because it wasnt as trichomey and i have noticed an improvement and its smell is mor pungent and the buds feel denser and have swelled it also feels a bit dryer. but ya im gunnna experiment a lil more with it and put it back in the light room under strick observation lol because i wana know if the trichomes develope into cloudy or amber. i also wonder if the pungent smell and dryness will go away once in the light?

The trichs start clear, then cloudy, then amber.
You usually want all cloudy with a few amber, but right now, you're so wishy washy, I think you're confusing yourself.
I don't think you'll even know if it herms or not, unless you wait a couple weeks or more, but I also don't think you'll see a difference in ripeness unless you wait a week.
Like you said, it's an experiment, so pull her, and decide if you like or not, make a journal, (I write down what I do every day with my plants) and you will know what to do or not to do next time.
It should only get better, right? ;-)
That's the end of it for me, I don't want to complicate your decision any more than I already have.
Good luck, and I believe either way, you will be happy.

thanks man and ya i felt like i was confusing myself too its my first grow so theyre my babys just want the best for them uk lol so what i decided to do was put them back under the light for a few days i watch them ery closley and the second i see a bad difference ill cut but untill ten im gunna let it go a 3 maybe 4 day cycle back in the light room ill take pics to let everyone know what happens ik its not the most interesting thread but ill still put up pics hopefully someone will reply with some info or comments but thanks man and thanks to everyone else for the info and opinions

Hey everyone i chopped yester day after putting it back into its light cycle for 3 days. I can say that i do see more cloudy trichomes now then i did when it was in the dark room still some clear though and theres also some amber but it looks good to me and smells amazing i cut the plant about 3 inches up the stem from the bottom maybe four and have the whole thing hanging i didnt do individual branches. Also im going for a dry trim bc i hear its smoother smoke and its only 2 in total both being harvested speratly so it wont be too bad doing it dry ik it takes more time and effort. ill put pics up later tonight just thought id say i chopped it down and its looking great.
