I want No New Genetics. As in NONE. Ive wasted 1000's of dollars on what in my opinion is junk. Some is OK weed, but IMHO weed has really gone to crap on average vs what I know I had in the 90s. It aint nostalgia either, something has gone on in the last 20+ years.
I spent 6 years in Federal Prison. From 97-2001. Was on Supervised Release until 2007, got a violation, and went back 3 more years.
I hadn't smoked since 1997, so I was fresh as a daisy. My buddy has some Original 90s AK47 x NL5, and was the 1st weed I smoked since 1997. These were old 90s genetics, and he still has them. Is PURE FIRE. He has both AK47 cut, NL5 Cut, and also a Cross of the 2 that hes had for 19 years, and has also been propagated by Tissue Culture for 17 years. Its changed... 00000
Well getting back into the fun again, I started my quest on acquiring my own proper genetics. This started in 2009. In 1997 the Feds got over $5000 worth of my seeds, and from 2004- until 2007 I was a MOD at Serious Seeds, and for Dan Van PoT on his forum ( Cant remember name now, and was shut down ), who was the Breeder for Cup Winner God Bud for BCBD, and left them because they were Ripoffs. Dan also took the MALE, and left them with a cup winning clone, but they still don't have the real stuff ( MALE ) ( HEY DAN WHEREVER YOU ARE ) When they busted Dan they got over 5lbs of seeds. He had PURE RHINO ( African ) NOT White Rhino. Only person I ever saw have it.
But to be honest, after spending 1000s on seeds, and sampling other well known strains, Ive been highly disappointed with almost every strain Ive bought, or smoked since 2009.
Still the best since Ive been out is the AK47 x Original NL5.

The Dominion Sk hasn't been run yet, but I have the highest expectations from this, and a couple other Dominion strains, as they have the ORIGINAL Skelly, SSSC SK1,, and both originally were pure fire. My original stuff had both of these.

Haze x NL5 x SSSC Sk x Skelly HP. One difference vs Dominion Sk1 vs my original is Dominion is Chem91 VA. Mine was Haze x NL5., and I know the REAL Chem91 VA is also Pure Fire, and if the Male side is the same as mine was... SSSC Sk1 x Skelly, it has to be really good stuff, and the Dominion Reviews on Instagram are very, very complimentary.

I don't think its the fertilizer/chemicals. I used Miracle Grow, and Epsom Salts back in the day and it worked fine.
I always add Lime, Ammonium Nitrate 0 46 0 0... 0 44 0... and 0 0 52 for outside.
IMHO its the Breeding Programs, and also as Ive mentioned before.
A BUNCH of strains/Genes/Parts of ,were lost in the very early 2000s to 1 thing or another. I was in federal prison then and also supervised release, was still growing when I got out, but using 90s and some early 2000s genes.

Its not as simple as just finding another male.
Its well known they started ( On A Commercial Scale, not Individuals ) they started breeding the STINK out of the Original Skunk.
Mr Nice advertises SHIT/SK1 as being Indica Dominant Bred, while the ORIGINAL Club81/SK1 was 2/3 Sativa. Period. No Argument. Straight from the family that still has the Original Genes. Master Thai, whom I don't care a lot for from what Ive read, but he oes have the shit that he says he has, and is the ORIGINATOR of other strains with ancient genetics. YEP, hes still got it.
U Mello/Nature Farm Genetics also has the Same Sk81 Genes, and is a very nice person to deal with, even if he is slow to answer questions, of which he also doesn't want to say much on Email, as it IS still Illegal, and if shit is seized, and messages are found to contain grow info, they can, and will get you for Conspiracy, if the have a hard on for you. Its preemptive measures, and I understand that, and in the long run, his genetics will speak for themselves.
Also going by the Original Breeder... Uncle Fester Sk81/Sk1 is Columbian x Acapulco x Afghan.. Most places also have Sk1 as having Thai in it, and It Does Not. Everyone elses may, but the original stuff doesn't.

Whats up with that?? It just proves that theres Much More than Ultimate THC Bragging Rights, vs something else that's going on.
2 years ago the Emerald Cup Winner only measured 17%-18%, and beat out strains that measured 30+, and the 17% stuff blew the 30% out of the water, and was seemingly Much More Potent, yet was giving up 13% THC??? HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?
Ive smoked stuff from Cali, Colorado, Michigan that was supposed to be tested at 28-30%, and its not nearly as strong as the stuff I had the Feds Got in 1997, or as strong as the stuff my buddy has.

2 years ago the Emerald Cup Winner only measured 17%-18%, and beat out strains that measured 30+, and the 17% stuff blew the 30% out of the water, and was seemingly Much More Potent, yet was giving up 13% THC??? HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?
Ive smoked stuff from Cali, Colorado, Michigan that was supposed to be tested at 28-30%, and its not nearly as strong as the stuff I had the Feds Got in 1997, or as strong as the stuff my buddy has.
As in not even in the same universe. Like I said the only thing Ive smoked that rings my bell, is what my buddy has been growing/propogating since the 90s. AK47, NL5, AK47/NL5 cross, and its so much better vs ALL of the other strains Ive either smoked, or personally grown out the seeds since 2009, and Ive grown a bunch of them.
