I never soak seeds. I just wet them and plant them. And get damn near 100% germ rate

Same here ,straight into kitchen paper in the old plates trick on a heat mat and BAM, seedlings the next day.WTG!
Just wanted to share my experience with recent germination. First time I just put them in substrate. I was a nervous wreck for some reason even though I always felt bad handling a wet seed exposing the tap root to light and possible contamination. Any how, here's 9/9 seeds planted 20 days ago. All popped up
