im not sure of ph because the ph meter broke and all i have are the ph drops and im not sure how to test soil with it. Its 80 degrees give or take. I stopped fert over a week ago because i got nut burn when i tried. im on 24 light with two 150watt bulbs on one plant. i waster every 3 days as needed but i am obviously doig something wrong :-(

The temps are too high for starters
Get it down to 76-78°F
Also turn your light schedule to 18 hours on and 6 hours off, the plant needs a rest.
I would give the soil a thorough flush and then start off at 1/3 strength veg nutes

so you think its browning from temps and stress??? Do i really need to add nuts....i have two kinds(fish fert 5-1-1 and MG bloom booster 15-30-15). I am scared to addd any nuts cause of my experience with them

Yes you need to add nutes, how do you think you would grow if you weren't fed? Your plant is very pale yellow because it is lacking nitrogen, the first number of the n-p-k ratio. Flush the soil thoroughly and then add the fish fert at 1/3 of the recommended dose

you over fed and didn't flush

to test pH in soil with drops you first FLUSH the soil pot then collect runoff after you finish flushing then pH test the runoff. Next time you water, use enough feed solution so you get run off. test the feed solution before and after by collecting some runoff.

flush just use a fuckton of h2o and get as many of the old fertilizer solids out of there as possible.

good luck\!

use the fish fert and avoid the booster until you get into flowering cuz it won't be that great. maybe you need another fert something with a more appropriate p and k content being almost equal with slightly higher k to mix with your 5-1-1, in hydro it would be a 5-0-1 and a 0-3-4 or something like that to make up a nPK mixture
a little 5-1-1 will bring a lot of green back into the plant after you flush it

ok i flushed it before andhadnt added nuts in weeks....but i did flush it with a ton of water. I just did another flush and added the tiniest but of the 5-1-1.....i figure its easier to add more then take it back. i just didnt see why she was browning in the center. I hadnt added nuts of anything. We'll see if the new bit of 5-1-1 does anything. I am trying to proceed with caution. Im only at almost 5 weeks and i know the growth is stunted. For a second try I'm keeping my expectations low. I appreciate all the help :-)

How much are you adding to the water? You need to put in a certain amount per gallon, when you wing it like it seems you are now you're plant gets under/over fed

The directions say 1 teaspoon per quart so i did 1 1/2qts water and 1/2 teaspoon of fert. i can add ore but like i said...i havent had a good experience with ferts.
