Why I dislike soccer.
#1 Players fake injuries to get a free kick. Nothing pissed me off more than the guy from Ghana going down intentionally, crying for about an hour, then popping back up as soon as the penalty was called. I hate players exploiting a flawed system, this goes for any sport (example: Kobe in a basketball game “creating” fouls), but it is much too common in soccer.
#2 Unfair scoring. The "we can't do anything about it" attitude pisses me off too. If I scored a goal after however many minutes of running around and the ref decided to take it away from me for no reason, and I can't stand up for myself, then I would find another sport. Baseball also has this problem (example, the perfect game that was ruined) which they call the "human element". I see this as a stubborn attempt to not adapt to current technology and trends in the sporting world. There is absolutely no reason for this.
Basically soccer has a lot of downfalls that plague other sports, but they seem to take it to extremes and it gets a little too excessive.
With that said, when I can stomach all the drama, it can be enjoyable to watch
